Knitting. I know, shocking!

A few months ago I made these for my cousin in law, Jessica. She is a photographer and needed some photographer mittens (I got the idea from Bea at http://knittingandsomemore.blogspot.com/search/label/mittens ).

I wanted to use the pattern for Bella's mittens and then

use Bea's finger hole pattern. They worked wonderfully. I think

I did the finger hole a little too high but it'll work :). These mittens knit up really dense and toasty. I loved the finished product

Yarn: Cascade 220 doubled

The little headband is for her daughter Avery. She is the most adorable girl. I used Rose's Hat pattern by Verla Younker and I continue to love that pattern. It knits up so quickly. The flower is from Head Huggers and seems to take forever but I really like the result so I continue doing it.

Yarn: Sublime Cashmerino (flower, Cascade 220)

See, I still knit. Although not as often lately and that makes me sad. I will pick it up, you know, on that eternal plane ride to and from London ;).

The Royals? Yeah, I totally know them.

Okay, not really but I'm totally going to the weddin'! That's right, I'll be there letting my nerd shine forth with 1.5 million others (and loving every minute of it!). I'll be there with my mom and one of my besties and her mom. How fun is that? Very fun is the answer you're looking for.
